Welcome to St. Stephen's United Methodist Church!
St. Stephen's is a warm, caring and enthusiastic congregation seeking to grow together into the persons God would have us be. This is a place where you can belong - a place where your heart can find a home.
St. Stephen's is changing lives in northwest Houston, making a difference and building God's kingdom in our community and the world. We invite you to come and be a part of what God is doing here and now at St. Stephen's. We offer two worship services every Sunday - a contemporary praise and worship service at 8:15 AM and a traditional service at 10:50 AM. We invite you to be a part of our church family.
This Sunday, August 8, Rev. Cramer Johnson's sermon is "Blessed Are the Meek" from the series "Unexpected Joy". The scripture is Matthew 5:5. If you are more anxious and less excited about life than you used to be, you may need a refresher course in finding joy. Join us this Sunday as we explore what Jesus meant when he said "Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth." Also, join us for a very special surprise this Sunday in the Fellowship Center at noon during the hamburger lunch cooked by the United Methodist Men. See you on Sunday!
The
Evangel, our weekly newsletter, and the
Palm Leaf, the Senior Adult Council monthly newsletter, are both now available online! The four most recent issues of the Evangel and the current issue of the Palm Leaf are listed.
